At the festival, WeGo Solar has set-up a hand wash station for practical and educational purposes. It will be situated in the Village near the portable toilets. It’s great to be able to wash your hands in hot water and not have to use the stinky hand gel. And it’s really cool to look up and see the solar panels soaking in the sun and transferring the energy to the heat the water.
Mike Isbruker of WeGo Solar says that this kind of set-up is a “cost effective, Install- It-Yourself solar water heater, complete with 40 gallon insulated tank, for year round use in the city or for off grid applications. It will do almost 100% of a families hot water needs from April to Oct”
WeGo Solar specializes in “Green” electrical generation and “Cleaner” appliance technology, especially photovoltaic (PV), micro hydro and wind. They are local and feature products primarily for residential use- both on grid or off grid, back up systems (without a gas generator), and solar systems to feed into the grid. We did come and enjoy the music, food, people and the festival this weekend. It was awesome! The music was great, food was incredible and we left with a fistful of information and a gratifying feeling about being part of something good.

look forward to wash my hands with solar water on site…….. because I usually do 1,000 times especially when handling food.
Your blog is a breath of fresh air compared to the typical rubbish I learn on solar panel technology. There are numerous frauds on the market. Thank you for helping me out.
